“Aren’t they seeking for petition regarding violations of the Constitutional referendum in 2005, they do not remember it, do they?”- so surprised Sos Gimishyan, the former member of ANC, Chairman of the Christian-Democratic Revival Party, in the conversation with Aravot.am, when he learned that a petition against Levon Ter-Petrosyan is initiated by the citizens.
As we informed, a petition has been initiated by citizens these days, saying that “I, a citizen of the Republic of Armenia, join the lawsuit against Levon Ter-Petrosyan that he falsifying the Constitutional Referendum in 1995 took the power from the people.”
As commented by Sos Gimishyan,-“Despite the fact that we had a bit of controversies with Levon Ter-Petrosyan, people who only write about violation of the Constitutional Referendum in 1995, means that they are not sincere and honest people. I do not have anything in common with dishonest people and can not participate in the petition. Should they write that such a thing also happened in 2005, where the results were more disgraceful, shameful, it’s not mentioned. Should you state all, we would have joined. How can one not join the truth, and the snippy truth, which means that the matter is not about actual power of the people, but pursuing dirty, some other purposes … you know, I do not participate in such games. Being a toy in someone’s hands does not bring an honor.
Should they state also the year of 2005, where almost an absolute majority of people voted for the Constitution, maybe there was only a small problem, a quorum, should they state it, it would be hard to fight against the truth. I would understand that people raise the problems in our country objectively. And when they approach selectively, this half-truths pursue other problems. I do not deal with such things.”

Recently, they periodically remind us of Levon Ter-Petrosyan in a bad sense, rumors are circulating about him. To our question, whether he presents a danger to the authorities in the political field as of today, Sos Gimishyan answered, “As of today, I do not see that Levon Ter-Petrosyan may more or less present a danger. I do not see. Maybe I am wrong, maybe not. Maybe after these conversations someone would deliberately want to make Levon Ter-Petrosyan a candidate. I also see a tendency here.”
