August 27,2013 14:19

Starting from today Orange mobile voice and internet services will be available in Antaramut village of Lori region. This small village of around 300 inhabitants, founded in the 19th century, was not covered by the network of any mobile operator before. With Orange, Antaramut will have access not only to quality mobile voice services, but also to high-speed mobile internet. Starting tomorrow the Orange mobile shop will also be in the village, which will allow the inhabitants of the village to get voice and internet subscriptions, as well as necessary devices: handsets, modems, notebooks, accessories etc.

Francis Gelibter, Orange Armenia CEO, noted: «This site will ensure fast connection not only inside the village but as well with the rest of the world. Orange is proud to be not only the operator which delivers the best quality in towns but as well the one which creates new experiences for people living in villages like Antaramut».

As a reminder, after less than 4 years of launching its operations, Orange services are now available to more than 95% of the Armenian population. In Yerevan, Gumri, Vanadzor and Etchmiadzine Orange offers up to 42Mbps capacity network, and up to 21Mbps in the rest of the country.

Orange policy is to continue expanding its operations in villages taking care of quality and performance, including villages not yet covered by any operator.
