The RA President’s decision to join the Customs Union, as per human rights defender Michael Danielyan’s conviction, will remain unchanged. “These authorities will do everything that the people receive nothing. People have to go to drastic measures to change something,”- said Mr. Danielyan. He said that people should not have so easily accepted the decision of the President made yesterday, and, today, everyone should have come to the President’s residency and blocked the street. “Rebellion is not organized, rebellion comes from the soul. If you agree to live free, so you come here, if you do not agree, so you do not come.” To our observation that it was also a surprise for Serzh Sargsyan to decide to join the Customs Union, Mr. Danielyan sneered,- “Oh, boy! Then he can quietly resign without even thinking.” The President of Journalists’ Club “Arena” Levon Barseghyan also condemned the violent actions of the police to arrest the activists at the President’s residency, and explained yesterday’s RA President’s statement and the decision with the authorities illegal activities, “When the authority is not from people, you can expect whatever you want.”
