On September 14, during the meeting in Azerbaijani village of Tekali, Marneuli region, we asked the famous political scientist Zardusht Alizadeh whether Jamil Hasanli substituting Rustam Ibragimbekov as a single opposition candidate will succeed to be successfully competing with Aliyev in presidential elections on October. Alizadeh said,-

“I do not think so. This issue has been solved. The bet is 150 billion dollars. Our authorities will not allow anyone to approach it. It is the money received from oil produced in Azerbaijan for the next 10 years.”
