“If in Russia it is not allowed for men to enter the stadium during the Olympic Games in Sochi holding hand by hand, so correct processes are going on there”,- so responded playwright, musician Krist Manaryan to the question of Aravot.am whether the decision of Armenian joining the Customs Union is right. He noted that though we do not have a border with the Russians, but it is our neighbor, and added,- “We know the Russians, and he know our psychology, and tried tan is always good from untried yogurt. I, God forbidden, am not against Europe, I’m against all that is bad for our nation, and I support everything that will help Armenia.” Mr. Manaryan stressed that the RF is our strategic partner. To our observation on this occasion that Armenia’s strategic partner is selling weapons to our enemy, Krist Manaryan answered,- “It’s a business, a trade. We could also sell others although Armenians will not do that. And as for selling weapons to the enemy, perhaps, there is also a counterbalance to it that perhaps we are not aware of. I have also heard that we had bought missiles from China and Germany.
As to why Russia has sold that weapon to our enemy… of course, it is also logical that it will first use against us. But I’ve read that as if this weapon should not be used against Armenians, otherwise there would be many other conclusions. However, the RF has warned about it.” To our specification that, in fact, we are on the right track, Mr. Manaryan so-reacted,- “Armenians have always been on the right track when they do not betray themselves. In other words, it is not a little bit pretty word, but it is actually true: the smart lamb drinks the milk from seven sheep”. We could have found something common with Europe, as well, if necessary, we should find common language with the devil, too, for only it brings good to this people.” We got interested whether there are chances to find something common with the Europe in the created situation, Krist Manaryan answered,- “Chances are always there, even for the Armenian that is smart and knows how to discourse logically. You must just put your own self aside. Unlike other nations that are carriers of collective consciousness, we need to put our personality aside and unite in the collective, and, in this case, we will conquer the universe. Our enemies know it very well; we need to be shrugged off.”
