There were many discussions and criticism regarding ARF Bureau member Vahan Hovhannisyan’s appointment as an Ambassador to Germany saying that the ARF member wants to be close to the trough of the authorities, that the opposition concludes deals, and so on.
Today, Ararat Zurabyan, member of restructuring PANM, in the interview with Aravot.am said to this regard that he would not have made such expressions. “I can say that Armenia’s diplomatic school would only benefit from it, and it would not have blows or losses. However, it is up to Vahan Hovhannisyan whether to agree to this-or-that proposal. But I think that the politician with an opposition posture should not have agreed to such a proposal. But, this is my personal approach.”
To our question whether it means that he cannot keep to his adopted principles, his direction, as now it claims ARF, Ararat Zurabyan replied, “I think he will try to definitely do it, but how it will be successful, time will show.”
