At this moment, the situation in our homeland called the Republic of Armenia is extremely uncertain with regard to political, economic, social and a number of other aspects. The words are directly related to the Customs Union and quite uncertain prospects of Armenian and others that have tied their destiny and fortune with the Customs Union.
If the former enthusiasm be, the uncertainty of these days could be compared with the first years of uncertainty of the last independence of Armenia, but, in the early 90s, the majority of the citizens of Armenia had enough enthusiasm, as well as hope, and although we love to relevantly and irrelevantly remember cold and dark days of the war, and even during the war, our people’s enthusiasm and hope was still available and did not fade. With regard to the Customs Union and the prospect of the Union, only the Communists in Armenia clearly expressed their position. Other parties and party members are still playing uncertain games, perhaps waiting for an event so that to go after the event again. In other words, life once again shows that our political figures are too dependent on events and too opportunistic, and, however, the Communists among them are sincere, and especially our electorates, who day-and-night being in nostalgia of the Soviet Union, are going to the polling station on the day of election and electing any party but the Communists, are void of being sincere. Returning to sincerity of the Communists of Armenia, I must also note that the ideological sincerity of the Communist Party of Armenia is the consequence of the existence and availability of unchanged ideas of this party, and welcoming the prospect of Armenian’s involvement in the Customs Union, the Communists of Armenia once again prove that the concepts socialism and Russia are the same for them, and they are constantly looking for and finding the vision of the socialism only and solely in the sky of Russia and the north. Whether right or wrong, good or bad, this is the position of the Communists of Armenia. And what are the most prominent political parties of Armenia busy with in these days, which have a much higher rating than the communists, including those who, unlike the communists, occupy a lot of seat in the National Assembly, and the National Assembly of Armenia, occupying the entire political field of Armenia, from morning till night, are busy with political and inner-political sophistication, as well as with the matter that brings money. And after all of these, during the leisure time, they are talking about the genocide and patriotism, because, nowadays, even patriotism has become a lucrative occupation. And because today’s communists do not shine with their knowledge on patriotism, they have to trumpet their own ideas, and although their ideas are old enough, they taking advantage of the Customs Union are trying to transfer a topical breath to their ideas. And the other more rating parties and politicians are speaking about more common things, and talking about the Customs Union, they say nothing specific and essential not to make a sudden mistake. So that to say at the end, “Didn’t we say it?”
