Polish Ambassador to Armenia Zdislav Rachinski, in his exclusive interview to “Aravot” on hearing our answer that we do not know what the Customs Union is, he noted, “This is the problem. Moreover, as far as I’m aware from Ukrainian partners, Ukraine has not even officially received the documents on Customs Union, although they were invited to the structure. We can not say that the EU Association Agreement with Armenia was kept secret, since the preparation of this document was attended by hundreds of people from Armenia, experts and politicians. This agreement is known to many people: the government, and I am confident that it is also known to our Russian counterparts, and they know that it is only a regulatory document. I admit that the fact of not making the document public has become a cause of certain manipulations. However, the parties of the agreement are the European Commission and Armenia, and as I understand, none of the parties has refused, and it is still pending, yes, but so far it is not moving ahead.”
