Shota Khachatryan. “I do not like to take, I always help.”

Philosopher and artist Shota Khachatryan, who has occupied the studio, is compelled to leave it because it was leased, and not the owner of the space based on some circumstances should use it for his own needs, his relatives will be living there. In the conversation with Aravot.am, Shota Khachatryan said that he was creating in this ‘space’ for ten years, now he has to leave it. “The owners of the space are wonderful people, but they must move on, and I bother them, and they have no place to go. I do not know where to move my pictures; I wish I had a house. I do not know how to solve this issue,” said the artist displeasedly, formulating that he feel pity for his works of so many years. To the question whether you had tried to apply to let’s say, the Ministry of Culture for help providing you a space, at least, temporarily, Shota Khachatryan said, “People say, when the water is polluted, it is useless to think about how to clean it. I do not want to go and get into such bazaars, and later they face against each other… I do not like to take, I always help people. I can not apply, however, it needs to be, I feel uncomfortable. I would only wish them to see and know what art is here, and that it is not only painting,” said Shota Khachatryan.
