Artak Zakaryan. “It is a courtyard conversation, let Gurgen Yeghiazaryan go and talk there.”

November 22,2013 16:15

“Let Gurgen Yeghiazaryan go to courtyard and conduct such conversations there, I hope there will be such a place in his yard”,- so reacted the Chairman of NA Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs Artak Zakaryan, today, at the meeting with the journalists, in the conversation with Aravot.am, to the expression of the former Social Democrat Hunchakian Party (SDHP)  member, writer and publicist Gurgen Yeghiazaryan that “the authorities did not behave manly”.

Let’s recall that speaking of the decision of Armenia’s accession to the Customs Union and expressing in favor of it, Gurgen Yeghiazaryan, especially, expressed the following opinion, “The president is saying one thing, his ministers stood up and say quite another thing. At least, be manly, you had gone, that’s ok, be manly to say that we wanted to go and did it. Now, they are raising bluster that they might be beaten, therefore they went. Do you have any shame? We understand that you are not legitimate, at least, behave manly there.”

Moreover, Mr. Zakaryan thinks that Gurgen Yeghiazaryan’s claims are unfounded, and the actions of the authorities are reasonable. “The authorities have provided serious political justifications to any action. I think it is a courtyard conversation, let him go there and talk. Let him read serious political comments that were made by the authorities as to why we made a statement to join the Customs Union. And it’s the right way.”
