When the foundations are decrepit

December 19,2013 14:26

Yesterday, once again rumors were spread and denied on the Internet that the last Soviet leader, Mikhail Gorbachev, has died. But, after denial, again, rejoicing responds popped up in the post-Soviet area: perhaps there is no retrained Christian attitude toward death in this area. However, Gorbachev is alive. God grant health and long life to all people living on this planet.

When it comes to historical figures, the estimate in any case cannot be definite. I do not understand damnations addressed to someone, including to Gorbachev. They say that he had destroyed the Soviet Union. Is one person able to do such thing, if there are “rotten mechanisms” in the system of the country? Can Merkel destroy Germany? Can Obama destroy the United States? Did Gorbachev destroy with the help of or inducement of the Masons, the Jews, the CIA, or other conspirators? And why didn’t they incite Khrushchev or Brezhnev? Were they better people?

Herewith, of course, I do not want to say that an individual (in this case, a person that is inconsistent and confused in his thoughts) does not play any role. Or, that the Soviet adversaries, in their turn, were not tearing up to collapse the country. But, all these things is impossible to be done if there are no objective prerequisites. As for what prerequisites is the matter about, volumes have been written and still will be written.

The matter here is that any country, regardless of its size, is “seismic resistant” to all possible conspirators, if, figuratively speaking, local builders of the state are not stealing the cement and fixture within the country. These builders, by the way, are not only the authorities, but also all citizens.

They say that Kiev’s “Euromaidan” is tearing up the West. Of course, they are telling the truth. But, people also have objective reasons to go out to the street. Can, for example, Russia provoke that, let’s say, people in London would stay for in Trafalgar square for weeks and demand Britain to join the Customs Union, chanting: “We want to live in Kazakhstan?”

This is the same for Armenia. We do not have the immunity to outer “tearing ups”, because the foundations of our state is decrepit, because, during the 22 years, our authorities and political elite did not say what state they want to build; they were are are busy with quite other things. If you yourself do not know what you want, why are you surprised that you are dragged from here and there.
