As we have already informed, in response to the inquiry of “Armenian Times” daily newspaper, the RA Police had informed that the policeman Hakob Khachatryan’s duties, who had kissed the neck of the activist girl at Komitas 5, are restored; only a reprimand was issued. Reprimand, according to the police, was issued for improper performance of duties, for displaying low professional commitment. To our question of how improper performance of duties of the police officer is associated with internal investigation related to the kiss, the Police department informed that they cannot tell more than is written in their message. To our question that the investigation revealed that the policeman had not kissed the girl, Ashot Aharonyan, Head of the Police Public Relations and Information Department, said, “Who said anything like that?” The Police does not say other details of the internal investigation.
