On the way to “Freedom” Square

“Perhaps, there would be no necessity to present a new “political scientific” analysis?

Robert Kocharyan’s interview a day before the Christmas holidays raised activeness in the political arena. Perhaps, followed by this purpose, the interview was introduced just in time.

Talking about the policy and “downsize of construction volumes” in particular, led currently by Tigran Sargsyan, taking the office of the President of the Central Bank of Armenia during the ten years of Kochasryan’s ruling in 1998-2008, everyone understands that it was just an opportunity for Robert Kocharyan to express, especially when the charges brought up against ruling of Serzh Sargsyan for “betraying” Russia after September 3 had been automatically removed from the campaign “arsenal.”

According to circulating suppositions, Kocharyan’s interview was a claim of pretension to the prime minister’s office. More bold ideas are voiced, for example, Moscow is striving to replace the Prime Minister of Armenia, or the pro-Russian forces want to push Kocharyan to the prime minister’s office…

It is possible to add a few more options. However, if the entire political arena is engaged in the debate on Kocharyan’s possible return, this is far from being the problem of the Prime Minister, and the authorities, in particular, because Serzh Sargsyan may hardly decide to appoint Robert Kocharyan a Prime Minister with an application expressed by single interview. And, in general, given Kocharyan’s former experience: the transition from the Prime Minister to the President, hardly can any president dare to share the power with Kocharyan, because Kocharyan, himself, is not the kind of sharing the power.

The opposition forces were to be more concerned about Kocharyan’s interview, especially those who have tried to separate the PAP from Robert Kocharyan in the last for several years; they have considered him leaving the politics, and his return – impossible.

If Moscow is backing the process of Kocharyan’s appearing into the arena, it means that the honorable Vladimir Vladirmirovich Putin is considering Kocharyan as the worthiest “opposition” to reckon with the Russian factor rather than Gagik Tsarukyan as an “alternative” to Serzh Sargsyan’s power, toasting to Serzh Sargsyan on foot in the presence of Robert Kocharyan, or even the ARF and the Congress.

If Robert Kocharyan has spontaneously decided to express, in this case, too, his “application” is more addressed to the opposition. As for the remaining technical issues, as they say, let the opposition decide by themselves whether or not they accept Kocharyan as their opposition leader, whether or not they concede the opposition field to Kocharyan. However, so far, it seems there are no particular concerns voiced from the opposition in response to the expression of Kocharyan’s pretension.

Perhaps, our oppositions do not have good reasons to oppose Kocharyan’s hidden, but now already not so much hidden pretensions, and perhaps, now there would be no necessity to present a new “political scientific” analysis…?
