Ruben Mehrabyan. “Let Kocharyan answer why gas pipeline coming from Iran narrowed down.” (Video)

January 15,2014 15:40

“With this interview, Robert Kocharyan was just trying to cast doubt on mental abilities and memory availability of his readers. Let Robert Kocharyan be kind to answer the following questions of why gas pipeline coming from Iran narrowed down, how it appeared under Russian ownership, why it did not become a transit pipeline, why it turned from 12000 millimeters to 700 millimeters”,- said political scientist Ruben Mehrabyan, in the conversation with Aravot.am, referring to our observation that the 2nd president, being the founder of property for the debt deal, criticizes the logical continuation of this deal, selling of 20% of the share of “ARG” to “Gazprom”.

As said by Mr. Mehrabyan, “why he does not answer why he handed over the whole property for debt to Russia, what debt we are talking about that was recruited. In fact, now one more unclear debt arose, for which they gave the remaining 20% and no word about the Customs Union. Just, I repeat, no need to underestimate people’s mental abilities and memories, everybody remembers and understands everything.” To the question of Aravot.am that the 2nd president, in his criticism, uses mandatory funded pension system as a target, given that there are complaints from the public regarding this innovation, we can assume that Mr. Kocharyan relies hopes with discontent mass for returning to power, the political scientist said, “The matter that Kocharyan, in fact, wants to return to the public eye in a positive light, is a fact, and there is a detachment of volunteers that are engaged in sweeping and washing him. It makes no sense, because it is anything else but the series of crimes, which occurred during Robert Kocharyan’s ruling, starting from the chief prosecutor’s murder, ending with March 1, this heavy burden is hung around Robert Kocharyan’s neck and it is not washable. Simply washing volunteers are busy with useless job. It can be possible only in one case if the public ultimately get into apathy, indifference, but it will be the end of the statehood, I do not believe that coming to policy will be as such.”

To our observation that the PAP is a possible support for Kocharyan to return to power, and the PAP, at least in parliamentary elections, turns out to collect much votes, Mr. Mehrabyan said, “So what? I do not believe that the citizen of the Republic of Armenia is dead. I do not believe it. You cannot step into the same river twice.”
