“We were told, do not call, we’ll call you. So, we have no new information”,- so ansered Gayane, Hakob’s mother, to the question of Aravot.am of whether the Armenian Red Cross representatives visited Hakob Injighulyan, the Armenian captive in Azerbaijani, and whether they have information about it. As we have already mentioned, Hakob’s family members conveyed a letter to the Red Cross representatives to hand it over to Hakob. Recently, representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) visited the Armenian captive Hakob Injighulyan. Zara Amatuni, Communications Manager of ICRC Armenian delegation conveyed that exchange of information occurred. ICRC representatives passed the Armenian captive the message of his family and some information about his relatives. Hakob’s mother was unaware about this information; she just passed Aravot.am that they are waiting for a call from them. With regard of drawing parallels between Hakob Injighulyan and 19-year-old soldier Armen Hovhannisyan, deceased during recent diversion operations at Karabakh-Azerbaijan border, when Armen is turned to a hero, and Hakob, on the contrary, we asked Mrs. Gayane whether it is correct to draw parallels and finding common ground, Mrs. Gayane replied, “There is nothing to compare. Each one has its own place. That material has been removed from the Internet. My assessment is that and idiot is writing something stupid, others are reprinting it from each other without understanding what they are reprinting.”
