Mamikon Khojoyan, born in 1937, resident of village Verin Karmiraghbyur, Berd region, Tavush Marz, has been several years suffering from the disease called senile psychosis, amnesia, but was not registered as a patient. Kamo Chobanyan, village-mayor of Verin Karmiraghbyur, told us that Mamikon has 3 boys and 4 girls. Mamikon has seen a lot of sorrow in his life. About 9 years ago, his son died of a disease, 2 grandchildren died in a car accident in Russia, one grandchild died of the disease in the village, Mamikon’s wife died years ago at the age of 54. His son took Mamikon Khojayan to Russia, city of Lipetsk, to live with him. About 5 years ago, Mamikon without warning has left the house, got on the train, and arrived in Moscow from Lipetsk. Russian police officers searching for him have found him in the Russian capital. Kamo Chobanyan said that on January 29, the representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross had visited Verin Karmiraghbyur, took information about Mamikon, and informed that they were going to make an inquiry about Mamikon in Azerbaijan.
