Aravot.am asked Gagik Stamboltsyan, a plastic surgeon, an expert who had introduced a recovery method of an injury or a disease by the method of vaccination of cells or activation of stem cell in Armenia, how the President of Armenia has become “younger”, and whether we are talking about the same method, which was also introduced in Armenia. As said by doctor Stamboltsyan, regenerative medicine is a very broad concept and it applies to all branches of medicine. “We are talking about the use of mesenchymal stem cells available in the fat and used specifically in the plastic surgery.” And as for what surgery the President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, has recently underwent in one of the clinics in Korea, Mr. Stamboltsyan said that he can not say anything about it, as he is not aware of it and is not an expert in it.
