Kamo Chobanyan, village mayor of Verin Karmiraghbyur village of Tavush region, said that there is no information about the village resident Mamikon Khojoyan. As said by the village mayor, he is constantly in touch with the employees of the International Committee of the Red Cross Armenia representation who also have no news about Mamikon.
The village mayor said that Mamikon’s relatives have sent a letter to him through the Red Cross, but Mamikon is unable to personally answer the letter because of his physical condition. Kamo Chobanyan informed that Mamikon’s son and daughter-in-law are living in Verin Karmiraghbyur village, and are engaged in farming. Recall that Mamikon Khojoyan, born in 1937, appeared on the territory of Azerbaijan on January 28, 2013. Mamikon suffers from senile psychosis illness, but was not registered as insane. The Azerbaijani propaganda machine is presenting the elderly and sick man as an Armenia subversive.
