March 14,2014 17:41

A prime minister wanted: the political forces do not raise names. The discussions about the meetings of non-ruling forces, or, as they say, this great 8 are enjoying the greatest popularity in these days. One lack of trust is voiced from the ruling arena that diametrically different ideological forces cannot be united, and also are welcoming the possible merging. Republican MP Manvel Badeyan is of the opinion that these forces have both strategic and ideological disagreements, which will hinder them to unite. Hence, their unity is not on the base of ideology, and is just a “bubble”. The leader of the “National Security” party, Garnik Isagulyan, has a reverse opinion.

Opposing the partner, Republican Manvel Badeyan noted, “There is no constructive discussion, well, let them say a candidate for the prime minister.” Garnik Isagulyan said, “me” or “Manvel Badeyan.” Manvel Badeyan countered, “You can not since you have never worked as a prime minister in your life.” Garnik Isagulyan said, “Had Tigran Sargsyan worked as a Prime Minister in his whole life? At least there would be no corruption, no looting, at least every single English speaking young man would not be appointed a minister. Why can Tigran Sargsyan and Garnik Isagulyan cannot? Or, they are afraid that Isagulyan would came and many people who are softly seated, would appear in prison. How many Deputies can be sent to the appropriate place, how many ministers and tycoons? The Chamber of Control is reporting something, you’re saying you have no right. It is clear that billions are lost, isn’t it? Start investigating, your prime minister is a person that is unable to solve the issue of a minister? Are you afraid of… Isagulyan can very well work as a president, as well as a prime minister.” Garnik Isagulyan assures that there are a lot of candidates for the prime minister among the oppositions: “Armen Rustamyan, Gagik Tsarukyan, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, Aram Manukyan…” without listing Robert Kocharyan and raises a question, “Tigran Sargsyan is the phenomenon that is irreplaceable in the Armenian reality.

” With this regard, Aravot.am held a conversation with Armen Martirosyan, Deputy Chairperson of “Heritage” party, since “Heritage” will also hold a meeting with PAP. Mr. Martirosyan does not think the authorities are in a panic and notes, “I am not talking about the panic, because I have no problem with panic. Should there be a common agenda, should there be common actions, the power will be just transferred to the public, and new elections would be scheduled. If we do not unite, I do not think that there will be a problem.” To the observations about the background of the difference of ideologies and merging, Mr. Martirosyan so responded, “What? Are we discussing problem related to the socialist path of the country’s economy? Or, we are talking about the extreme liberal or conservative approach to look for some ideological commonality. We are talking not about some ideological direction rather than about a specific political problem, which today does not cause a problem of ideological approach in any way. He does not say to go for a change of power by conservative approach, to go for revolution by liberal views. He says, unite and change the power together to take the country out of this situation.” To the question of Aravot.am of whether he will list name of candidates for the prime minister’s position, Mr. Martirosyan responded, “Artsvik Minasyan, there are also candidates in the “Heritage”, but I will not say.” We asked whether Gagik Tsarukyan is also among the candidates. Armen Martirosyan responded, “Everybody is there, Tigran Sargsyan would not also be a bad Prime Minister, if not this system. He was accustomed to the rules of the game that were available in the power and six years later a similar system arose. However, the discussions are not around the Prime Minister in person rather that how to take the country out of this situation.”
