With “Politburo” decisions

March 15,2014 13:32

In 1921, when Lenin was already gravely ill, and his younger comrades-in-arms were doing everything to isolate him from different sources of information (allegedly, not to upset the leader with unwanted news), he was able for a moment to listen to the radio to realize what was happening in the world and in his own country. Which information source did he believe considering it an unbiased source of information? Of course, BBC.

In 1999, I spent a few days there as well as at the “Guardian” (also, in my opinion, a very solid) newspaper, and was much impressed. It is nice that as of today BBC has maintained its benchmark and does not try to fiercely, and with impudent propaganda wash out people’s minds with regard to Ukraine. Like it is done by the Russian national channels, to which not only Russian, but also the Armenian lumpen believes in it unreservedly. A similar campaign is conducted by the western media (including, the CNN), in more refined and professional manners. The difference is that in the West, the ordinary citizens, information consumers are thinking more free, unimpeded, they treat the word of both politicians and journalists with serious reservations.

It is obvious that the propaganda of Russian TV channels is coordinated by, conventionally said, “politburo”, which provides the basic directions on whom to attack at the moment and vilify and so on. “Politburo”, probably, is in the Kremlin. The same model was functioning in Armenia during the times of Kocharyan. Now, the pressure on television is significantly reduced, and in some cases it is totally absent.

Interestingly that now the same practice of work are sometimes adopted by “non-government forces.” Why is it so? I do not know. Maybe some members of the previous “presidential” politburo are now moved to “non-government forces”. Nevertheless, now the targets are selected systematically. If a “non-government” media “pickaxes” someone, the rest, almost with the same words, is repeating the same “pickax.” True, there is nothing bizarre here, too.

More bizarre is when the said parties are sending their members to other media to made demonstrations. Such demonstrations were held yesterday near “Armenian times” and “1-st News”, the media, whose publications I also do not like, and whose political line I do not share. However, whom did it occur to “debate” with them with these methods?

Do not do so, my dear “non-government” members. You are also fighting for democracy, aren’t you?
