On March 28, at 19:30 to 21.15, the Azerbaijani armed forces fired village Chinari from large-caliber machineguns. The village mayor Samvel Saghoyan said that the bullets lodged the windows of houses, and into the floors. Children living in these houses were in fear. Chinari village mayor said that the Armenian frontier guards gave a worthy counterattack to Azeri. At that moment, Varuzhan Baghmanyan, village mayor of neighboring Choratan village, commander of the Choratan self-defense unit in the years of war, was standing next to Saghoyan. Chinari village mayor said that V. Baghmanyan had come to look at the situation, as well as to inspire Chinari village inhabitants. Village mayor of Nerkin Karmiraghbyur, Manvel Kamendatyan said that on March 28, in the evening, for about one hour, the Azerbaijani armed forces were intermittently firing the village; there are no damages. The village mayor of Moses village, Ararat Avalyan, said that on March 27, in the evening, the roofs of village houses were affected by bombardments. As he said, the damages of bombardment on March 28 will be evident in the afternoon of March 29. The village mayor of Aygepar village, Andranik Aydinyan said that on March 28, after 17:00, there were bombardments for a few hours, sporadic shootings were still going on. “I am sick and tired of shootings and the media. The journalist are calling me and asking why they are shooting, in which direction..,” said A. Aydinyan.
