“Let someone else come and try, what’s the problem?”

Yesterday, the President of the Republican of Armenia, the leader of RPA Party Serzh Sargsyan attended the preliminary Assembly of “Sayat-Nova 2” district organization of the RPA Kentron Regional “Sayat-Nova” organization. The agenda of the meeting included the item of selecting the delegates for the next RPA 15^th Congress. In the result of voting, the Assembly unanimously voted Serzh Sargsyan the delegate for the next RPA 15^th Congress. Serzh Sargsyan expressed gratitude for the trust and answered the questions raised by the participants. In response to the question on clarifying the statement of never claiming for the president’s position, he said, “The statement made is very simple. What? Is it mandatory for one person to be the president of the country for twenty times? May be another person turns out to be more successful. Let someone else come and try, what’s the problem? And who has told that I am the best, and why should I be the one? You know many people who were thinking that they are the best, however, their opinion is not enough. This is the very reason, there is nothing else. But if have looked carefully, I have also said that RPA would continue its crucial role. And what had happened? We have a very good party office that is a bit behind the presidential office. I will go, sit down in this office and work.”
