Andranik Aydinyan, village mayor of Aygepar border village, Tavush region, said that the village people suffered some material damages from Azerbaijani shells on April 14. Some of them had taken loans from the banks to repair their houses, but the shooting destroyed these repairs, too. According to the village mayor, one of Aygepar residents was at home, in bed and watching the TV when the shell passed through the TV set. A. Aydinyan said that on that day the Azerbaijani fire started at 11:00 am, in the beginning, they shelled the defense positions of the village, from 16:30 pm – the rural area of Aygepar village.
The Azerbaijani three large-caliber “DSHK” shells exploded in the hallway of the village kindergarten building, causing damages around. Note that the kindergarten building was renovated with funding of the U.S. Embassy, the furnishings were supplied by the International Committee of the Red Cross. Fortunately, the children at that time were at their homes. The roofs and windows of the village houses were damaged. The shooting of Azerbaijani troops damages Aygepar’s feeder pipeline, and on April 15, in the early morning, the employees of Tavush region gas service restored it. As said by Andranik Aydinyan, it is urgent to build 30 m. long wall blocking the village kindergarten. The village mayor said that although Aygepar residents are concerned, but not scared. The Armenian frontiers, though a little late, but gave an adequate counterblow to the opponent. The details in the video.
