PAP parliamentary faction has yet to decide to participate or not in the voting of the Speaker of the National Assembly. On this occasion, in the interview with Aravot.am, the faction member and party spokesperson Tigran Urikhanyan said, “Today, at the faction meeting, many important issues, economic sector projects were discussed. You know that we always emphasize the shortage of work in the country, hunger, emigration, medicine and hopelessness of people in need for bread, and do not see any other priority, as long as these problems are available. We need to do a day early steps towards solution of these problems.” At today’s PAP faction meeting, a couple of new economic projects submitted to the National Assembly for discussion were mainly considered, they touched upon also the projects submitted earlier. “In the end, among non-priority issues, they discussed the issue of voting of the candidate nominated by the political majority. I assume that tomorrow we will have the decision,” said Tigran Urikhanyan. Recall that the ANC and ARF have already announced they will not participate in the voting.
