How much money does Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan share, and why Kocharyan will not return

April 29,2014 20:38

“Serzh Sargsyan is carrying on an intrigue. He is bringing the old staff, thus saying that you were saying, in our time it was good, now I have brought them to you”, so responded the leader of “New Times” part Aram Karapetyan to the question of Aravot.am that many people have the impression that the new Government of Armenia “is Kocharyan’s government”. To our observation of whether Serzh Sargsyan actually has something to prove, Mr. Karapetyan responded as follows, “The problem is not with proving.” Then, Aram Karapetyan noted that RA is distinguished by the fact that “it has a strong president, parliament, and a government system.” Then, Mr. Karapetyan said, “There is no such thing in the world. Armenia does not belong to the world government systems known to me – prime ministerial, single-party and technical government. The head of the government is a partisan, in other words, this is not a technical government, nor a coalition, nor monarchical, because there are non-partisan appointments. What else can you call it, if not a brotherhood. They say that godfather and godchild relations will not work, but, for instances, as far as I know, the health minister is in godfather relations with different people.” Mr. Karapetyan made the following predictions about Robert Kocharyan’s return, “I do not consider Robert Kocharyan’s return possible, because he is appreciated by outside as a presage of revolution. I do not separate Serzh Sargsyan from Robert Kocharyan. I know who shares how much money with whom on everyday regime, hence, it’s hard for me to imagine how they can have just political and economic contradictions.”
