“Can anyone believe opposition playing Rule of Law party?” Hayrikyan

May 03,2014 17:29

To the question of what expectations you have from the new government staff, NSDU party leader Paruyr Hayrikyan responded as follows, “Like from the previous, a little less, because they are the same.”

Paruyr Hayrikyan is convinced that the new government will not be able to solve any problem. “Since the key issue of their masters is to preserve the power, and it is impossible that a key issue essential for the nations would deserve attention. Whenever and whatever Serzh Sargsyan desires, he would say the Prime Minister, I have no problem with individuals, I am familiar with their practice. They say something, and wait to see whether the president knows and what the president would say. They could be affected only by the NA majority, but the majority with their mouths open were looking at what Serzh Sargsyan will say.”

With regard to further activities of the Quartet, Mr. Hayrikyan refers with skepticism. “Well… Can any reasonable person believe the opposition playing Rule of Law party again? Once it played the role, didn’t it? Once it cheated, didn’t it? It played an opposition, and then entered into coalition. Or, PAP is an opposition, it fights against the government, but they unanimously voted for Galust Sahakyan.”
