The U.S. Embassy to Armenia will work with Aram MP3 on different projects

The U.S. Ambassador to Armenia, John Heffern, watched the “Eurovision” contest in one of the Yerevan “Pub-clubs” where he stayed until three o’clock in the morning. There were about fifty people in the club, all of them Armenians with tricolor flags, enthusiastic and constantly chanting “Ha-yas-tan”. The Ambassador especially liked the fact that when the Azerbaijani participant went on stage, the Armenians enthusiastically welcomed her. They also treated the winner of the contest with respect.

Today, Mr. Ambassador shared his impressions with the Aravot.am at the American University of Armenia during the fourth annual National Poetry Recitation Contest organized by the Peace Corps volunteers. “It was a very good show, also for Aram, and when he returns, I hope that I will work with him on different projects,” said John Heffern. The Ambassador refrained from expressing his opinion on the winner of the contest, saying that 26 countries were participating in the voting. “The decision was made by these countries.”
