The Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan introduced a new government program and the 2014-2017 Action Plans. According to this plan, Hovik Abrahamyan promises to implement a number of projects in the field of agriculture. In particular, if this program is approved, wireless (WiFi) Internet access will be provided in Armenia’s border villages. It is planned that in 2015, additional about 340 border and high mountainous rural communities will be provided with Internet access. Like Tigran Sargsyan’s, so as Hovik Abrahamyan’s government does not give up the services of anti-hail system, despite the fact that they did not prove to be useful in Armavir marz, last year. Pursuant to the Government program, anti-hail advanced systems will be continuously introduced, and their geography will be expanded. The Program also indicated that insurance system should be introduced to the agricultural industry. Hovik Abrahamyan promises to boost tourism and increase the number of tourist visits to Armenia at least by 5 per cent per year. According to the Program, in the next few years, the apartment buildings will be licensed and the fight against illegal construction will be intensified. In the transport industry, it is expected to recover the direct railway to Russia, also update, and upgrade the public transport, making it accessible for the disabled and low mobility groups. Like Tigran Sargsyan’s government, this government also will ensure equal rights and opportunities to people with disabilities, also favorable conditions in all sectors of public life. It is noteworthy that many sections of the Government Program, in general, literally repeat Tigran Sargsyan’s Government Program. He also promised that they should restore the disabled, fight against corruption, reduce the poverty of pensioners, etc. However, unlike the previous program, Hovik Abrahamyan must resolve the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh war veterans, and implement a new program in support to veterans of the Great Patriotic War. And Tigran Sargsyan had promised to solve the housing problem of war veterans.
