“Well, they are sworn friends” so responded the executive secretary of “Free Democrats” party Masis Ayvazyan, in the conversation with Aravot.am, referring to the question about the next portion of weapons to Azerbaijan by Russia. Recall that last week, the Deputy Director of Russia’s Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, Konstantin Biryulin, had informed ITAR-TASS that Moscow had completed the supply of 100 Т-90С tanks to Azerbaijan. The Russian official considered the possibility of supplying a new batch, with the same number. Our interlocutor, however, is optimistic, and emphasizes that “there are talks about” the next big batch of weapons. Generally, Masis Ayvazyan, assessing Russia’s behavior and loyal attitude of RA authorities, quoted the famous saying, “The red cow won’t change its hide.”
