David Shahnazaryan. “The access of Kiselyovs and Leontievs to Armenia should be banned.”

June 13,2014 20:20

“Kiselyovs will become impudent, as long as government and non-government system introduced in our parliament has lost the sense of dignity and is ready to take any offense from Russian tens of Kiselyovs” so responded the leader of “Concord” Center, David Shahnazaryan, in response to the question of Aravot.am of how he assesses the statements voiced at the National Assembly by the General Director of “Rossiya Segodnya “Information Agency, Dmitry Kiselyov, and the absence of adequate response by the Armenian side. Recall that on June 11, General Director of “Rossia Segodnya” Information Agency, Dmitry Kiselyov, has raised at the National Assembly the issue of declaring the Russian language as the second official language in Armenia. To our observation whether it was correct to accept Kiselyov at such high level and perhaps this is the reason of his behavior, Mr. Shahnazaryan replied, “The access of Kiselyovs and Leontievs to Armenia must be banned. The Russian ambassador to Armenia must be deported from Armenia, and declare him persona non grata. They do not respect our state, and this is Russia attitude to us. A counterblow should be given, while the political system of Armenia is not capable of it, as it is entirely corrupt.”
