“Not only Artsakh but the entire Armenia should be protected from Mr. Serzh Sargsyan, and it is totally not an absurd”, such opinion was expressed by the President of the Forum of Armenian Associations of Europe, Ashot Grigoryan, in the conversation with Aravot.am. referring to the statements of the RA President Serzh Sargsyan.
Note that on June 17, during the transmission of «Interview» over «ArmNews» channel, the RA President Serzh Sargsyan, in response to the question raised, said, “Please, do not protect Artsakh from me. This is not only outrageous, but also absurd.” Ashot Grigoryan claims that Armenians are preoccupied with protecting Armenia and Artsakh from Serzh Sargsyan, and then he details, “The most important thing for his is his seat. He sees nothing beyond it. He would be happy to give this seat to someone. Simply, the volume of committed crimes is so great that Mr. Serzh Sargsyan, if does not have a position at least one day until the end of his life, will be set in the pillory of justice. The information about the brave deeds committed by him, his clan, and his brothers ignite the Armenians throughout the globe, and we all consider it our job to rid the country of this clan.”
Ashot Grigoryan believes that Artsakh must be saved from the policy that is conducted by the president of Armenia and the Minister of Foreign Affairs. “We must save the failure of expected results from the 100th anniversary of the Genocide. Armenia’s future is already a failure of becoming at least a candidate for the membership with the EU. The Armenian-Russian relations are also a failure, since Armenia is not a partner to Russia but a vassal, a slave. The President of Armenia is worth of nothing, a zero, not with the Russian prime minister, the president, but Russia’s partners, Lukashenko and Nazarbayev.”
Mr. Grigoryan is not particularly pleased with the activities by non-ruling quartet. In this respect, he said, “I declare, shame on the quartet, this was not our expectation. If you are criticizing everything, but not hitting just one point, which is the most important, the one sitting on the head of the pyramid, you’re fake. Levon Zurabyan and his followers may have little to talk about since they are the founders of this pyramid, therefore, the very Levon Zurabyan’s words have zero value for them. PANM laid the bases of this shameful pyramid. How can we accept PANM serious? Levon Ter-Petrosyan betrayed ten times, the ARF followed the example of PANM.” To our observation of, in this case, what do we require from Serzh Sargsyan, Mr. Grigoryan responded, “We want nothing from Serzh Sargsyan, he does not understand. He is unable to rule the country, conduct a foreign policy, and save the economy. Our people have chosen a strange way of voting, the migration crook. He is against all of this, and throws himself into the hell.”

Mr. Grigoryan, considering himself an advocate of the Armenian-Russian relations, at the same time notes, “How can one make a statement about accession to the Customs Union, not only unprepared, but after receiving the money from the European Union in the course of three years? You all of a sudden wake up from sleep and say that we are going to the Customs Union.”
Mr. Grigoryan believes that prior to the membership, first, we must ensure the grounds that tomorrow the leaders of the Customs Union will not all of a sudden make you imposing such customs duties in the country so that you would not accept a competing product.
To our observation that they are not particularly encourages with Armenia’s accession since the processes are delayed, Mr. Grigoryan responded, “They are also afraid that if we accept Armenia like this, tomorrow, all of this may become a subject of dispute that the healthy child will be chocked. I demand that the processes be postponed and in the result of discussions accepted what is not destructive for Armenia”.
At the end of conversation, Ashot Grigoryan, half-joking and half-serious, said, “After the membership, if Russia says, “charge customs duty on foreign cars”, and buy my Volga make cars”, who will Serzh Sargsyan feel himself? Will he drive the Russian “Volga”?”
