Today, one of the newspapers had published an article that was circulated by almost all websites, which contained information about the Ambassador of Armenia to Belgium, Avet Adonts. The article said, “According to the information clarified from close circles of the Ambassador, the Belgian Special Services has sent a letter to Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign and the National Security with a request to throw light on the matter of how it is possible to buy a few dozens of Rolex’s per year and diamond stones worth of 30-50 thousands euro with a state salary and freely take it to Armenia.” In response to the request of Aravot, Armenia’s Foreign Ministry said that the Foreign Ministry has not received such a request. The Foreign Ministry spokesman, Tigran Balayan, said, “This information is false and does not meet the reality.” The same response was given by the Head of the NSS press center, A. Baghramyan, “I do not have such information.”
