“Ashot Sukiasyan is not giving testimony yet.” lawyer

July 12,2014 16:25

“I cannot understand why they divulge such statements,” said Paylak Hayrapetyan’s lawyer, Vagharshak Gevorgyan, referring to Ashot Sukiasyan’s statement about fabricating Navasard Kchoyan’s and former Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan’s signatures.

In the conversation with Aravot.am, he said that he is surprised at publication of fabricating the signatures, because “Let investigation be done, this man has not yet given testimony, as to what he says, I am not aware of.” Referring to Ashot Sukiasyan’s lawyer, Yurik Khachatryan’s allegations that it is a “fabricated act”, and all of that is a specific intent, which was done for Sukiasyan to have problems, to take off his own 60 percent share in diamond mine in Africa, and make a great profit, Mr. Gevorgyan said, “Let him tell what he means by saying intention, where it is seen. He must say directly. The matter that Paylak Hayrapetyan was intentionally expropriated is not a subject for discussion. There is no contingency in this case, such things do not happen by chance, the matter is about tens of dollars. If an intention has been committed against his client, let him publicize and the investigation will clarify.”

Mr. Gevorgyan said that quite many materials have been published, which shows why Pailak Hayrapetyan was expropriated. “Money laundering has be committed against us, a crime, fraud, embezzlement, and as a result, we were expropriated.”
