The topic of “Aravot” online on the air is discussed between economic commentator, Ara Galoyan, and the “168 Hours” newspaper journalist, Babken Tunyan.
Aram Abrahamyan – One of the “Aravot” users is asking, “How many businesses have come out of the shadow in these 100 days?”
Ara Galoyan – The person asking the question is quite an attentive person, because the new government in addition to talks about combating the shadow has almost done nothing in the past 100 days. The phrase of combating the shadow, itself, implies that there should be the opposite, the bright side, to which the shadow resists. No one resists, consequently, no one is willing to come out of the shadow.
A. A. – One of the businessmen asked after the government’s famous “anti-shadow” session whether they are serious about telling them to come out of the shadow.
Babken Tunyan – This very question includes the answer, in other words, the demand to come out of the shadow with this composition, with these businessmen and this government figures seems so absurd that no one believes, because bringing this composition off the shadow means the government harms itself.
A. A. – Can we estimate the replacement of economic bloc ministers, Gagik Khachatryan came to replace David Sargsyan and Karen Chshmarityan came to replace Vahram Avanesyan? What vision-presenting ministers are they?
A. G. – I do not see the vision, the new government, unlike the previous one, has not offered any vision, and the selection of the economic bloc, and the prime minister from the formation of this government leaves the impression that the authorities are getting ready for something, a serious event, an action. For what purpose and what will happen is not clear. Actually, there is no new man; there are old, long been known figures famous with financial scandals, and involved in some political and social noisy stories. Now, practical people are gathered, but what goal they pursue, why so famous figures are gathered is not clear.
A. A. – Can you guess what they are getting to, perhaps the elections; usually the politicians are getting ready for elections, there is such a classical impression.
B. T. – I have the opposite impression; they are not get prepared, but it seems we are gone back to the previous period. The ministers have again occupied positions, and to say that they showed some notable results, it’s not the case.
A. G. – When I say that they are getting ready for something serious, I absolutely do not mean that it will be done for the sake of the state or the people. Being huge owners, they pursuing their own interests. The discussion in whole
