Says Major General Arkady Ter-Tadevosyan
Lately, Aravot asked Major General, Hero of Artsakh, Arkady Ter-Tadevosyan (Commandos) to comment the tense situation and the opponent’s subversive activities on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. To our question whether there is a threat of war, Major General immediately answered, “There will be no war.” Commandos sorrows for our soldiers dying nearly every day, but he says that this is the situation and life. The Artsakh War hero expresses positive about the preparedness for our side, he says that we are doing all right from military point, as for the foreign policy, he refrains from talking about it, he believes that the country’s leaders and diplomats should deal with it. To the question of whether we are ready to confront the enemy during the war, Mr. Ter-Tadevosyan answers that it would be right to give this question to outside experts, NATO and others. “They say that Azerbaijan is not ready for war,” he says, noting that Azerbaijan really does not need war currently.
