In recent days, people approach me telling one after the other absurd news and ask whether they are true. And when I say that they are lie, anyway, they assume that either I do not know the truth, or I am interested in hiding the truth. For instances, “Dozens of young men were caught on the street of Armavir and taken to the army,” “during the swear in, the Turks attacked and massacred everyone”, “war will begin after Sochi.” When I ask where they dig up this information, the answer is roughly as follows, “The other day, my brother-in-law’s cousin’s acquaintance has called and said.”
Who washes people’s brain? In this case, I can blame the government, the opposition or the media. No politician, no more or less self-respecting journalist would spread such nonsense. Moreover, even on the Facebook, where, as it is known, a hundred kinds of lie is spread out daily, this type of lies seems to be nowhere. If we are too prone to the theory of conspiracy, then we can assume that the Azerbaijan special services are spreading out such news, but, to be honest, I cannot imagine how the opponent’s agents are calling the Armenian credulous people who spread false rumors.
The problem, I think, is the universal skepticism. Soldiers, mass media and politicians, regardless of their orientation, are saying almost the same thing, there are no significant differences here, six factions are coming up with a joint statement, but the public does not believe them, it believes the rumors of unknown source and indefinite wording said by the relative’s friend’s acquaintance. The public does not have authority accepted by all, whose word would be credible for everyone.
The truth is as follows. There is no common enlistment, no one is caught from the street and taken to the front and, it is senseless, currently, the soldiers are performing their tasks in full. Or, there would be firing, incidents and collision before and after the meeting of presidents in Sochi, and therefore, unfortunately, there would be victims. There will be no full-scale war, first of all because Azerbaijan understands what a sad future awaits for it in that case. The Armenia and Artsakh servicemen promptly report about any victim and injured, it is impossible to hide it in our country.

Of course, this writing of my would not be read by most of those spreading rumors and those believing them, and a part of those reading it would not believe. There is a human type, for whom living in a constant anxiety is a way of living. Historically, it turns out that the percentage of such people among Armenians is high.
