On September 1, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Karen Mirzoyan received the delegation of the Lithuania-Artsakh Parliamentary Friendship Group headed by Chairwoman of the Group Dalia Kuodytė.
The NKR Foreign Minister welcomed the guests, noting the significance of the Group’s activities in developing the relations between Artsakh and Lithuania.
The meeting participants also discussed the possibilities and prospects of implementation of some practical programs in the frameworks of the Friendship Group.
Karen Mirzoyan also touched upon issues related to the current stage of settlement of the conflict between Azerbaijan and Karabakh, as well as the recent achievements towards the international recognition of the NKR. In this context, the Foreign Minister emphasized that the establishment of the Group of Friendship with Artsakh at the Lithuanian Seimas was an important contribution to the international support for the aspirations of the people of Artsakh for freedom.
