What complicated tasks does the National Assembly that has long ago become the executive’s attachment and marionette due to direct efforts of the very Serzh Sargsyan to solve that at the RPA’s Board session, in the appearance of a funeral repast toast-maker on the face, calls on all Republican MPs to put all personal problems aside and be engaged in lawmaking work? What a lethal situation is it that makes it to apply to barracks (arsenal) allegories and compare Parliament with the field of battle, and put a helmet on each of the deputies’ heads and push them into the trenches of the National Assembly hall? Why is he unhappy with quietly punching legislative initiatives of its own inglorious government and with RPA MPs choking in the cradle the “dangerous” initiatives of a handful of opposition, and why does their leader now put forward requirements that are beyond the potential for the majority of them?
Frankly speaking, when you ignore the tough-serious-concerning masks covering the faces of the speaker and the prime minister, wandering alone behind him in the footage, in the presidency, and slightly analyze the original meaning of lofty text, it becomes clear that it was just about not being absent from the voting and about correct and timely pushing of the button. They could, of course, gather at a dining place and say in an open text, for example, using swearwords. Perhaps, they will do so after the session, but they should also show the public that a complicated process of the state government is on.
As a pinnacle of cynicism, Serzh Sargsyan’s call addressed RPA MPs to work actively in international organizations was voiced in the summit. Even those who have difficulties in composing their thought in Armenian are called to deliver our truth to their counterparts in other countries and international institutions. Good Heavens! Maybe you shouldn’t? Or maybe we should be limited to Russian circles. They would not be so surprised by the level of our Republican contingents, and after emptying one or two shots, everything will fall into its place until the moment of sobriety.
As they say, forget it! Let them talk with each other about anything they want and as long as they want. Let them read whatever level of texts they want, good or bad. But when these poor quality events with their subordinating media are presented as something epochal, how can you stay quiet? When verbalizing that “the Republicans’ role in the parliament, the government, local government and generally, in the public and political life of our country is decisive,” how shouldn’t you cry, yes, it is so, for this very reason people’s condition is so tragic, for this very reason you get rich, but we get poor, it is for this very reason that we subject our country to failure.
