“The international community should prevent this vandalism. The Republic of Armenia is a small country and is unable to go against all of it alone. We can give assessments, we can fight and we must fight for the powerful countries to invest their diplomatic channels and political instruments for the destruction of these groups. Yes! I dare to say so since it is not just a violence against Armenian nation or Christianity, but also a crime committed against civilization and humanity”, said RPA MP Karine Achemyan, in the conversation with Aravot.am, condemning the explosion of Deir ez-Zor Holy Martyrs Armenian Church, by qualifying it as a cultural genocide. Note that the Armenian Church was blown up by the Islamists on September 21, when we were celebrating our Independence Day. This memorial was dedicated to the memory of the 1915 victims.
