Yesterday, Jacqueline Sarkhoshyan, an Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia, also dancer of the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after Al. Spendiaryan, left for migrant work.
As reported by “Aravot”, the reason is social. Over 10 years, the artist is living in a rental apartment.
In the interview with us, Jacqueline Sarkhoshyan did not mention the country she is going and for how long, she only asked to convey words of gratitude to the fans of her art, assuring that she does not imagine her future creative activity without their love.
It is a welcoming initiative by the Municipality to grant apartments to some needy renowned people of education, science and art. This year was no exception, too.
Maybe the name of the prima dancer has slipped out from the list submitted to the Municipality about the leading artists of the National Opera Theatre who need apartments.
