“Since the very first day, Hakob had said that he was tortured, in fact, it was photographed on the phone”, said Harut Injighulyan, brother of Hakob Injighulyan, being captive in Azerbaijan and later returned to Armenia from the third country, in the conversation with Aravot.am.
Note that the Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan has issued a statement, which says that there is a video, which is directly related to the violence committed against Injighulyan, thus imposing his to make a statement not meeting the reality, as well as it actually defines who the alleged Azeri subversives are “visiting the graves of their relatives”.
Injighulyan’s brother mentioned that Hakob has told that he was beaten and photographed, but he they were not thinking that it would be revealed. To our question of what Hakob tells, where he was beaten, who they were and for what, his brother replied, “Hakob tells that anywhere where he was found: both at home where he was kept and in the military prison, he was tortured. According to Hakob, there were places where they were photographing how they were beating him. And those who were beating his were soldiers.”
To the question of why they were beating and what Hakob tells, Harut Injighulyan replied, “I guess just for fun, because no reason is required to beat the opponent. If I catch an opponent, I would also beat.” Hakob Injighulyan’s brother informed that in these days, Hakob Injighulyan would visit the detachment, where after the medical examination he will continue the service. So, today, all day long Hakob will stay in the detachment, therefore, we could not talk to him.
