Hayrikyan named those expressing positive about the EaEU as “mentally sick people”

December 02,2014 14:52

“By the strictest estimates, those who would vote in favor of the Eurasian Economic Union: Armenia’s accession to the Treaty can be described as gone away from their human attributes or be in a poor mental health condition,” said the NSDU leader Paruyr Hayrikyan to Aravot.am during the rally against the EaEU in front of the National Assembly building.

Note that the National Assembly is discussing the issue of ratification of the agreement on “Joining the Treaty of the “Eurasian Economic Union” dated May 29, 2014″. Today, Paruyr Hayrikyan warned the parliamentarians that in the event of voting in favor of the agreement they would be responsible before their children. “Time will come when their children would ask, on this day, at this hour, when you were voting, didn’t you feel that you are a human being and you should behave yourself humanly with a healthy mind. Eurasian Economic Union means slavery, it means loss of Armenia’s sovereignty, and is contrary to the September 21”. He named “mentally sick” to all those who claim that EaEU will solve Armenia’s food and military security. “Those saying it are mentally sick people. They tie issues of economic and food security with Russia who is experiencing an economic crisis and has introduced the coupon system. They are truly out of their mind. It is impossible, people do not know that Russia’s state enterprises are already introduced to the auction as bankrupt enterprises, that the ruble is violently devaluated.”

To our question about his expectations of the upcoming vote on the validity of the agreement, if we consider that non-government parliamentary forces have also voted in favor of the EaEU membership, Paruyr Hayrikyan said, “I have seen many KGB agents who have been reoriented at the decisive moment.”
