The number of the Avetisyan family casualties became seven: the little Seryozha also became the casualty of the heinous crime. Any person who is made of flesh and blood cannot but catch his heart on hearing this terrible news, on seeing the photo of the baby. But no matter how upset we are, we have to suffer our grief with dignity, restraint and without unnecessary words.
Today, of course, the temptation is great for looking for the guilty “inside”, to identify “enemies” and to be singled out by some critical assessments on the background of the tragedy. This is done not only for political reasons. There is a very simple psychological mechanism: to survive the grief, to be deviate from the grief by choosing an “appropriate” target, to talk not about the original tragedy but about its accompanying phenomena. And since this grief is felt not only by one family, but the whole nation, it is very common that we want to distract our attention on “related” topics.
But, like in any other situation, here too, we can achieve something by concentration of efforts rather than by side talks and noise. I have already had the opportunity to say that a few hundred thousand people in the Freedom Square, silent, organized, with distinct requirements, without speeches and chanting, only with posters will have much stronger sobering impact on our and the Russian authorities than uproar of people and throwing eggs and stones.
Inciting passions, demanding blood and lynching, now, is very easy. Only its efficiency will not lead to our expected outcome. And vice versa, our restrained behavior for decades, if not for centuries, will cast a shadow upon those who want to conceal this crime (if there is such a desire). This is a common pattern. For example, no matter what the Azerbaijanis say or do, the blood of Sumgait and Baku massacres will be deleted from them, so long as they, yes, they rather than some international instance, do not legally punish the perpetrators, do not repent and apologize. The Baku massacres took place exactly 25 years ago. But they will be in mind still 250 years later.

Turning to slaughter of these days, I must say that I do not need this creature croaks (I am sorry for not finding another word). I need the case to be completely disclosed, not only with regard to the murderer but also the “military base” buried in corruption and lawlessness. And this require to cope with the pain, concentrate the efforts and think. To think about the living ones.
