“This is a specially organized terrorist act. There is a Turkish-Azerbaijani trace”, concluded former deputy head of the National Security Service, also politician Gurgen Yeghiazaryan, in the conversation with Aravot.am, referring to the slaughter in Gyumri.
As we know, numerous hypotheses related to these killings are discussed in these days. Gurgen Yeghiazaryan believes that the motive for the murder, which was presented by Permyakov to the law enforcement authorities, is just a fairy tale.
As he said, “There are many questions there. How could a stranger leave the military unit at 4:00 a.m. with armor, walk more than 7 km in the town dressed in a uniform and enter Avetisyans’ house? Why did he choose the Avetisyan house? Exactly this address was chosen because mainly women are living in this family and there was a lullaby child, this would make people’s rage even stronger. After committing a murder, which killer leaves a complete information about him in the place of the scene: the machine gun, which he had received at the military unit under his signature, the cartridge belt, booties, which have his name and last name inside, the uniform, two cartridges, in other words, more than enough evidence to prove that the crime was committed by this scum.”
Gurgen Yeghiazaryan draw attention to the fact that although the murderer has left still two unfired bullets in the place of the scene, however, he has decided not to shoot at the 6-month-old baby but to jab. “He had reasoned allegedly he had decided to pull out the glass of the window and enter the house to drink water, and then on hearing voices, he had to kill. The reason was one: one of the casualties has tried to call on the phone. His argument is null and void. The motive is not apparent, it is not a motive for murder. He jabbed the child having two bullets, because he was instructed. To be compensative, he should have been guided by their handwriting, in other words, leaving his name and last name in the scene, a family destroyed with specific cruelty, and as a final point, a stabbed child. The general description of the murder and stabbing of the six-month-old baby straightforwardly speaks of the dictation, the tutors and some handwriting, through which this terrorisms was to be implemented for to be paid back in the future. With this, his master should determine that it was done by him, personally, therefore, they leave the name behind. The particular cruelty was aimed at the gentle feelings of the Gyumri residents, the Armenian nation, which made them rise on feet at once.”

According to Gurgen Yeghiazaryan, the preliminary motive for the murder expressed by Permyakov was later changed. “A few days later I learned that the testimony was changed, that he had gone to the crime because someone like him in Russia, an ethnic Armenian, had killed a few Russians, including children. This means that he already has a motive for the murder, a motive for taking away the lives of a whole family. He gently shifted the terrorism into a revenge. In such cases, people do not escape to the Turkish border, but remain at the scene. I am inclined to believe these stupid things. The issue is much deeper and unapparent at first glance”.
As to how Permyakov’s “master” is and who has ordered this terrorist act, Gurgen Yeghiazaryan said, “I see the hand of an inhumane in all of this. The point is that after the collapse of the Soviet, foreign intelligence services began to penetrate into the territory of the former USSR through NGOs and various sects. They became the best roofs of special services in various foreign countries to provide secure activities. As it is known, the father of the perpetrator is a sectarian. I do not exclude that he was enrolled by the channels of the sect.
Note when the issue of joining the EaEU was put at the National Assembly, about 10-15 RA citizens were gathered at the entrance of the National Assembly who were holding a protest. The same number of people were gathered in front of the Constitutional Court building, organized rallies at the Russian Embassy against the Customs Union. In other words, these gatherings did not become crowded, they failed. There were hundreds of materials on the internet that were condemning this Union, again no use. All of it did not produce anything. Today, the murders of Islamic State announce from the territory of Iraq that they will be moving to the South Caucasus, they even draw the road to pass – through Turkey. The matter that the Turks are in good neighborly relations with them, it is already apparent. And if the Turks all of a sudden provide this corridor… Prior to providing this corridor, such an explosion required, which would raise the Armenian nation and it is organized by shooting of the Avetisyans family, and the period was put by jabbing of the 6-month-old child. The deed of the scum agent immediately became an interethnic cornerstone between Armenia and Russia by inflaming the Russian-Armenian relations. For the first time, massive calls were made in Armenia: to get rid of the Russian No 102 military base.”
To our question as to which state was the client of this terrorist act and who had organized it, Gurgen Yeghiazaryan replied, “Do you remember that after the murder he was moving towards the Armenian-Turkish border? It is clear that the Islamic state has become the most powerful tool in the hands of the Turks: to get rid of all those who are against the Turks. When they are speak about occupying the oil stocks in Azerbaijan, this road passes through Armenia, whereas the Russian military bases are deployed in Armenia. This was the task that was carried out by the intelligence services in order to bring us against the Russian nation, to be deprived of military bases”. We asked whether it means that they had not calculated that Permyakov could be caught, Gurgen Yeghiazaryan replied, “Of course, he could. But, in all probability, he was provide with a corridor to pass to Turkey, simply the border-guards’ vigilance did not allow the plan to be fully implemented. Eventually, the Turks did not care whether he will cross or not, most importantly is that this scum implemented their plan.”
To our question of why the Russia side is interested in conducting the investigation at its own and not be handed over to the Armenian side, he replied, “It makes no difference for me where he will receive the life sentence, in Russia or in Armenia. It would be good for the scum to continue his life in the “White Swan” prison, where the conditions are much more severe. What I told you, most likely, the Russian side also tends to. The sectarian may have supporters in the military base, while there is a huge supply of arms and ammunition piled and stored there still since the Soviet times. In such cases, the number one interested party is the personnel of the military base in identifying his supporters. Thus, let us allow people to work.”
