Question: Situation along the border with Armenia and the Line of Contact with Nagorno-Karabakh has continued to escalate since the New Year, as a consequence of adventurous actions by Azerbaijan, which caused deaths. What is the motivation behind that?
Shavarsh Kocharyan: We express deep condolences to the families and relatives of the fallen soldiers. Each human loss of the Armenian sides is deeply painful for us.
As to the Azerbaijani leadership, they hide the information on dozens of losses resulting from their provocations.

The Baku regime in order to extend its rule and multiply its own wealth at the expense of the Azerbaijani people at any cost, is paying off with the blood of young soldiers, resorting to the same old adventurous provocations.
Through provocations of this type Baku contributes to the launched process of calling a spade a spade by the international community.
