The “advantages” of the Eurasian Economic Union are already felt. The commodities, which we used to order and receive from different countries through ebay easily, now you can read, “Not delivered to Armenia” next to them.
But this is not the only advantage of the EaEU. It is already the 4th acquaintance whom I know that calls me and complains that our fellow citizens coming from Europe and heading to Yerevan are refused to buy anything from duty free shops at the Moscow “Sheremetyevo” airport. The last person who called was a woman, who was to stay at the “Sheremetevo” airport with her child for 4 hours, but she was refused to buy even a bottle of water. Perhaps, they are afraid of smuggling. What can I say? I can only recommend the Armenians not to choose Moscow as a transit destination.
So far, there are countries like Kiev, Vienna and Istanbul, where we will not be humiliated as representatives of Chernorusia. I say “so far” because I’m not sure that Russia will not eventually embargo these flights. Oh, I forgot, the advantage of the EaEU is that Russia ensures our security. True, some of the soldiers providing security, according to Russian media, are mentally retarded.
