I watched “Founding Parliament” de-facto leader Zhirayr Sefilyan’s interview to “Civilnet”. He used the word “opponent” addressed to the authorities of Armenia and Artsakh for at least 10 times, mentioning that his struggle is not a classic political fight but liberation a one. He assured his partisans that the time will come, and they will attack and beat. I immediately recalled that he was a board member of the ARF “Dro” structure, and the arsenal of this structure included not only “severe beating”, but also “death penalty”, which was “executed” by “Dro’s” currently life-sentenced members. As far as I know, there are no similar crimes to Mr. Sefilyan’s soul, and he displayed himself heroically during the Nagorno-Karabakh War.
Over these 20 years, Dashnaktsutyun, in its honor, has been significantly “modernized” in Armenia and is close to the image of a classic political organization. However, manifestations for “community” thinking, radical psychology of civil wars in the Middle East countries and waging a national liberation fight inside the state are still available. Accordingly, if the authorities are committing a crime (which is often the case over 20 years), then we also have the right to commit crimes because they are “Turks” and “our opponent.” The ideas of executing the government representatives by hanging in 1994 were still fresh and fascinating by itself. Establishing “Dro 2” structure today seems outdated.
It should be noted that the Artsakh Police has created a good PR for “Founding Parliament” with its illegal, unprofessional, violent and, which is more essential, unreasonable (to put it mildly) actions. They have conducted such “awareness campaigns” in the regions of Armenia too, which were attended by a few dozen of people. The same number of people would be gather in Stepanakert, they would make their rhetoric and return to Armenia. Now, the information attention will be around the “Founding Parliament” for some time.
Some people are attracted by radical slogans, and they, however, join the calls of breaking-smashing in the virtual space. While some people realizing the danger of “national liberation struggle” against “internal Turks”, anyway, are trying to play up to the community to look “brave”. But this sector of the political field, in my opinion, is fairly small.

The opposition wants to overthrow the government and take its place, it is normal, so it is in the entire world. The opposition in Armenia always wants to do it through extraordinary elections, it is normal too, so it is in the young states. But in my opinion, our society has become mature enough to realize that it is possible to implement it only through “classical”, legal way, just as all our today’s parties do.
