The murder clients are not known, but the crime reflects the situation created in Russia
Last year, In May, in his interview to “A1 +”, Boris Nemtsov, in response to my question of how it happened that in the era of the internet there is a view that dominates in the Russian society, which is delivered by the federal channels, compared televised propaganda with a strong water flush, which hits the minds of people and eats them, while the Internet is like a light shower, whose drops are coming from different places and enables to make a choice. The Internet, thus, is not a means of propaganda. “Putin zombie-channels” as they are called by Nemtsov, have eaten, in his opinion, the brains of the majority of Russians.
This logic, apparently, can be implied to Armenia too. The vast majority of the people living here also solely use the information of these “zombie-channels”, particularly to have an understanding about the events going on in Russia and Ukraine. For example, most people, with whom I communicate, tell me about the Ukrainian soldiers’ atrocities. I would not say that it’s a lie. Simply, it is just half of the truth. And the other half presents the pro-Russian soldiers’ atrocities. Or, under the influence of the same propaganda, my interlocutors are sure that Putin “flourishes” Russia, while it, mildly speaking, is contrary to the official data on the country’s economic index. Unfortunately, the situation is exactly the same with regard to Nemtsov’s murder.
Of course, no one has the right to insist, in the event of lack of serious evidences, that the murder was ordered by the Russian government. In fact, the word “government” is a very broad term, there are circles here that are not aware of one another and operated relatively independent. However, I was shocked by the reaction of some of my compatriots, which one-to-one coincides with the main hypothesis of Putin’s campaign that the murder was organized by the West aiming to destabilize the situation in Russia. Generally, Russian “zombie-channels” allegations about “Jude-fascists,” “traitors of the nation” and the “5th column” fall on a fertile ground in Armenia. The Kremlin propaganda was regularly voicing these accusations addressed to Russian opposition and first of all, Nemtsov. And surprisingly, the “clichés” of this propaganda, sticking into the minds of our fellow citizens, are repeated even now, in the comments about Nemtsov murder.

As to who has ordered the murder of the most famous opposition representative is not possible to say. Even if tomorrow, the investigative bodies “push on” someone, anyway, it will not raise any belief in me, personally. But the situation that has been created after the murder of Nemtsov is in conformity with natural laws for Russia. Imagine that, God forbid, any Social Democratic Party MP is killed in Germany, or an NA MP representing Sarkozy’s party in France. It is not excluded, of course, that the opposition would again say that it was done by the government, while the latter would insist that the crime was committed by those who are willing to destabilize the situation in Germany (in France). However, they would not pay too much attention to these allegations because the opposition in these countries is the part of the political system, both the chair of the Parliament and all the media have access to it, consequently, killing of one opposition MP does not solve any problem. On the other hand, it is not possible to destabilize the situation in these countries in a similar ways. The regime, which calls the opposition members “traitors of the nations”, is capable of everything.
