Eduard Sharmazanov opines that the attacks by the Azerbaijani side are the result of destructive and anti-Armenian policy of the Azerbaijani administration
After the RPA SB session on March, RPA spokesperson Eduard Sharmazanov told the journalists that during the session President Serzh Sargsyan had presented the outcome of his visit to Brussels. “Serzh Sargsyan has had two meetings, it can be said that the meetings were productive. The EU-Armenia urban depth and importance is perceived both in Yerevan and in Brussels. The parties have a clear vision that we need to develop our urban depth with European structures,” he said.
Edward Sharmazanov noted that during the meeting the estimates condemning the European structures ahead to the centennial of the Armenian Genocide were also discussed. “In the last few days, our European structures have strongly condemned the Armenian Genocide. The estimates voiced by the four structures can clearly state that the European civilization condemns the Armenian Genocide, in other words, the Europe urges Turkey to recognize it.”
Sharmazanov said that during the SB session, there was a reference to the local self-government elections held in 26 communities during the last week. “RPA members collected more than 70 percent of votes, this means that the RPA continues enjoying the confidence of our society in the communities.” He added that during the session, RPA members aggressed the border situation. “We consider any destabilization attempt with the use of force by Azerbaijan unacceptable. Such attacks by Azerbaijan are the result of destructive and anti-Armenian policy of the Azerbaijani administration. We can do nothing other than giving a response, what our guys did the best. Azerbaijan continues its policy and the statement made by their president shows that the state has fallen into the anti-Armenian trap created by its own leadership.”
