The European Parliament adopted “April 24 EU Genocide Memorial Day proclamation”. The majority vote for it that is 28 European countries. The resolution calls on Turkey to recognize Armenian Genocide and face its history. Moreover, the resolution preceded the adoption of a heated debate on the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. By the time the delegates accusations were raised against Turkey, he misinterprets history books which means that Turkey does not want to face up to its history. European delegates criticized the Turkish President remark concerning the Pope. During the discussion, the representative of Italy Borgezio Marion was extremely upset by Erdogan`s allegations addressed to the Pope. “Erdogan wants to enter the EU talking like a member of mafia.
